What is this section for?
You’re a teacher, school club sponsor, admin, or support staff trying to make your classroom or student space more neuro-friendly. You’ve seen the gaps and how easy it can be to lose the flow, attention, and trust. You want to be more informed, more aware, and more skilled —for your students, and for the sake of your own energy battery.
Why should I care?
Because every classroom is already neurodiverse. And when you shift your lens from “fix the kid”/”stop the behavior” to “understand the brain”/”behavior is communication” everything changes—both their and our behaviors, the trust deepens, learning illuminates options. Plus, it makes your job feel human again. Having worked in schools myself, from Kindergarten to High School, both here in Colorado and internationally, I want to help you make your home away from home a safe space where people can be comfortable being challenged to learn and grow. Learning happens naturally when our emotions are regulated through highs and lows, and we can help facilitate that together.
How to know if this is your sweet spot:
You’re asking “what’s behind the behavior?”
You’re tired of plain ol’ sticker charts and want strategies that don’t gaslight the nervous system.
You want tools that help everyone—not just the ones with a label.
how to set up your space for a solid, grounded foundation instead of playing catch up with each activated nervous system inherently being triggered
You’ve got lots of love for the kids and the profession, but you’re exhausted spinning your wheels
