While my expertise applies across corporate, educational, and healthcare industries, one of my most impactful projects was with Divergent Realms, an online TTRPG (tabletop role-playing game) company focused on making gaming spaces more inclusive for neurodivergent players and aspiring players.


As their LPC Consultant, Designer, and Trainer, I developed structured training programs, communication tools, and engagement strategies to help Game Masters (GMs) lead neurodivergent-friendly game sessions with confidence. The work I did for Divergent Realms demonstrates how clear communication, structured flexibility, and neurodivergent-informed leadership can create safe, engaging, and successful environments—whether in games, workplaces, or beyond.

🎲 Designed and Led Neurodivergent-Informed GM Training

• Created a comprehensive training program teaching GMs how to recognize, support, and adapt for neurodivergent players.

• Integrated brain science, trauma-informed care, and structured flexibility into game facilitation.

• Taught GMs how to set expectations, manage group dynamics, and prevent burnout—skills applicable to any leader or facilitator.


📜 Developed Session Zero Frameworks for Clear Communication

• Designed pre-game discussion guides and player preference surveys to help GMs understand each player’s needs.

• Created tools to identify triggers, set boundaries, and clarify expectations before play began—similar to onboarding and leadership alignment in business settings.


💬 Built Communication & Engagement Tools

• Introduced nonverbal communication systems like emoji-based check-ins and the X-Button system, which allowed players to discreetly opt out of uncomfortable content.

• Created pacing and energy management strategies to help GMs balance engagement and avoid overwhelming their players—essential skills for managing workplace teams.

• Developed adaptive storytelling techniques that allowed for structured-yet-flexible leadership, empowering GMs to maintain both creativity and player safety.

• Designed debriefing and self-assessment tools to help GMs evaluate their sessions and adjust for future games—mirroring performance reviews and team check-ins in corporate environments.

• Taught self-care strategies for facilitators to prevent emotional fatigue, ensuring long-term engagement and retention.
