What is this section for?
Your kiddo is a unique soul, maybe they have been described as anything from “mature for their age” to “oblivious to others.” Maybe they race toward the edge, or maybe they play it way safer than you ever thought a child of yours would. They may be big feelers, or they may be shutting down. Raising neurodivergent kids can be tricky, and often intense both in incredibly rewarding and demanding ways.
This space helps you unlearn old systems/habits/generational patterns, to support your child with clarity, and build connection without losing either of your minds—or the ever important bond of trust.
Why should I care?
Because you love your kid. But love doesn’t automatically give you the tools to support a nervous system wired differently than anything we’ve been trained to respond calmly/kindly to. Understanding their brain (and yours) can change how you parent and how they grow.
How to know if this is your sweet spot:
You’ve Googled “handling meltdowns” more than once.
Your kid is brilliant and often baffling.
You’re overwhelmed by advice and want something grounded in real brain science, not just behavior bribes.
